Course overview
Physiology is the study of how the body works when nothing is wrong. This course builds the foundation for everything that comes next, from membrane potentials to organ systems. You will learn how cells generate electricity, how the heart pumps, how the kidneys filter, and how all of these systems work together to keep you alive. This course teaches you how the body is supposed to work, so you can understand what happens when it doesn’t.
The Difference:
We integrate systems from the start, showing how the cardiovascular system responds to exercise, how the respiratory system regulates pH, and how the endocrine system coordinates everything. You see the whole, not just the parts.
